Caricature of Mary Cook

Mary Cook sent me a sketch she did of me last week and in exchange, I sketched her today. This took about 10 min. and I used a small 4x6" wacom bamboo digital tablet in adobe photoshop on a PC.

Sketch of Jay Dee Alley

Jay Dee is a friend and artist that I knew at Will Vinton Studios back in the mid to late eighties. He sent me a caricature of me on Facebook and today I returned the favor by sketching him. I used a small wacom bamboo brand digital tablet in adobe photoshop. It took about 30 min.

Dec.13 2010 sketch of Ian Shadburne

Ian Shadburne's portrait was done as part of my caricature exchange program on Facebook. If any of my friends draw me and post that drawing to me, then I will draw them in return. Ian was brave enough to not only submit one drawing but a couple. hehe. This took about 20 min. and I used a small wacom tablet and worked inside photoshop.

John Lennon at age 70

Tonight I was just sitting around listening to John Lennon music on the 30th anniversary of his murder and I started imagining what he would look like today if he hadn't died 30 years ago. I was compelled to sketch or scribble this 'what if" out from my head.... John Lennon at age 70, painted as if it were 2010.

Caricature of Garrett Morlan

Garrett Morlan is a facebook friend who took the caricature challenge and sent me a caricature of myself last week. When people do this, I put them on my list and do their caricature as soon as I can on facebook. Garrett has a very strong handsome bone structure and was easy and fun to draw.
